The Samsung UN32EH4000 is a very basic 32-inch HDTV, but also the cheapest one of that size in the company’s lineup. One would expect that every TV released in 2012, especially by a big company, has to be 1080p. But, the UN32EH4000 has 720p resolution. This is not tragic, since the diagonal is not so large, but on the other side there are so many affordable 20+ inch TVs and monitors on the market with full HD resolution, making Samsung’s 720p 32-incher outdated.
Regardless of that, the TV showcased at the 2012 IFA show delivers a very nice picture, which you can see to some extent in these images and video below.
The nice panel with edge LED backlight and 60Hz refresh rate is accompanied by thin bezels around it, so appearance of the UN32EH4000 is pretty much attractive. But only on the front side. The profile measuring 3.6 inches reveals that the TV is really bulky for today’s standards.
Other features worth mentioning are a pair of down-firing 2x10W stereo speakers, ConnectShare Movie technology allowing you to watch movies and pictures by simply plugging in a USB stick in the TV, as well as two HDMI ports.
Now, the best part. You can get the Samsung UN32EH4000 for slightly more than $300/300EUR and enjoy a decent picture quality on a thin-bezel TV by a big-brand manufacturer.
