Equipped with just no-frills features, the 40-class X405BV-FHD3 is obviously a budget TV. Besides the full HD panel with CCFL baclight, 450cd/m2 brightness, 8ms response time, and 4,500:1 typical contrast ratio, the TV sports an ATSC/NTSC/QAM tuner, three HDMI inputs, Composite and Component in, VGA, and a USB port with support for audio file and digital picture playback. The TV is nicely designed, but is noticeably thicker than the comparable TVs with LED backlight.
